Нужен совет — помощь .
Работаю над проектом (моддинг)в стиле NFS и Форсаж .

Есть желание приживить в ПК авто тахометр для мониторинга оборотов помпы (водяное охлаждение)
, но не хватает знаний . паяльник в руках не вопрос — руки тоже из нужного места.
В наличии есть такой тахометр Auto Gauge 60543 LED

Помпа Swiftech MCP355 12v DC
При подключении тахометр инициализируется , но обороты не мониторит.
Куда копать и в чём проблема ? .
В одном ворклоге по вживлению тахометра читал — выдержка из текста (несколько модифицированная схема автомобильного тахометра, благо частоты с датчиков у машины и у вентилятора совпадают)
К сожалению автор не приводит описания модификации и статья 2006 года (найти автора пока не удалось)
Больше толковой информации по данному вопросу найти не удалось .
Буду благодарен за участие и помощь в данном вопросе.
